Patients are entitled to a free sight test if they are:
- Aged 60 or over
- Have Diabetes or Glaucoma
- Aged 40 or over with a child, brother, sister or parent who has or had Glaucoma
- Have been advised by an Opthalmologist that they are at risk of Glaucoma
- Registered blind or partially sighted
Patients are entitled to a free sight test and an optical voucher for glasses/contact lenses if they are:
- Under the age of 16
- Under the age of 19 and in full-time education
- Need complex lenses
- A prisoner on leave
- Entitled to, or named on a vailed NHS Tax Credit exemption ceriticate
- Named on a vailed HC2W certificate
Are getting or their partner gets:
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobeeker's Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Universal Credit
