Thank you for understanding and we are looking forward to seeing you!
As licensed professional optometrists, we have in our Practice a state of the art hospital grade OCT machine. We are highly committed to offering high quality care to the Abergavenny and surrounding community, some patients come yearly from America for our care. OCT is a non invasive imaging test.
The OCT uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina.
With OCT your Optometrist can see each of your retinal distinctive layers. This allows your Optometrist to map and measure their thickness. These measurements help with diagnosis. They also provide treatment guidance for Glaucoma and diseases of the retina. These retinal diseases include age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease.
Our Dispensing Optician is registered with the General Optical Council Register and is also our lens technician who does most of the glazing on-site.
